Resend sends your emails through its API. When an email bounces or someone marks it as spam, Resend tells subscriber.dev, and that person stops getting emails.

Connect

You need a Resend API key and a domain verified in Resend. A key with Sending access is enough. Or ask your agent: “Connect Resend, sending from hello@acme.com.”
You get back a webhook URL to set up next.

Settings

Bounces and spam complaints

  1. Run subscriber integrations get resend to see the webhook URL.
  2. In Resend, open Webhooks, add an endpoint with that URL, and choose the email.bounced and email.complained events.
  3. Copy the webhook’s signing secret, then connect Resend again with your settings plus "webhookSecret": "whsec_...". Your API key is kept, so you can leave it out.
Emails send without a webhook, but bounces and complaints aren’t picked up. When an address bounces for good or someone marks your email as spam, that subscriber is opted out. Temporary bounces, like a full inbox, are recorded on the run but don’t opt anyone out.
